Digging into Sugar Daddy

This week I continued reading Sugar Daddy by Lisa Kleypas. Wow.  This book is similar to the overall direction of Can You Keep a Secret? but I feel as though Kleypas uses better style and projects her own voice and feelings more as she writes.  The book has a sense of evolution to it because it follows Liberty, (the main character,) through her love life beginning as a teenager. Her mother always seems to find long lasting relationships and has good luck with men; however, Liberty does not.  The book jumps around to so many different men that it kind of makes you want to go, "Woah sister! slow down." Yet because of all the men Liberty dates, more emotion and inner thought are portrayed, which differs from the one- man love story theme in Can You Keep a Secret? Although Liberty has been with a lot of men, she has only truly fallen in love twice.  Up to this point in the book, one of these men has been introduced.  I'm assuming when the other man is introduced, that he will be a complete foil to the first man Hardy.  In all, the book has a great flow and Kleypas has an imaginative use of style and exclaims her voice clearly and efficiently.  This is one of those books you read slow in order to make it last =)
