Can You Keep a Secret? con.

     So this week I decided to take a break from The Night Of The Gun in order to just focus on Can You Keep a Secret? I have slowly become totally engrossed in this book to the point where i don't want to do anything but read it, no math homework, etc. Theres a lot of steamy scandal that has slowly came to the surface and it just gets better and better.  Emma, although in love with Connor, has taken an admiration of Jack harper, the founder and owner of Panther Corporation ( where she works.)  Jack has come to England from America to view their operations, etc.  When he arrives, he sees Emma, and remembers her from his plane ride to England about a week ago.  she was the crazy girl who spilled all her secrets out when the plane kept hitting turbulance. After a week of on/off flirting, Emma spontaneously dumps Connor and the next day Jack asks her out on a date.  At this point, Emma is still surpressing her inner feelings for Jack, and kind of plays hard to get.  On their date, Jack picks Emma up in a limo, which she is not accustomed to by any means, and takes her to the best resteraunt in London.  He buys her champagne and has pre- ordered all her favorite foods.  Emma loves this, but the whole date, Jack is on a business call and completely ignores her. Hurt, she leaves the resteraunt and Jack chases her.  At the bus stop, they have a minor argument and Emma tells him that she felt ignored the whole date and that she doesn't think she can deal with him.  Jack apologizes and they plan a date for the next night which Emma picks the venue.  This is where I left off, but stay in tune for next week =)
